Larger Lots, Bigger Cleanout Jobs
Walterhill sits along the Stones River north of Murfreesboro, where one-acre and multi-acre lots are still common and the housing stock leans older than the newer subdivisions south of town. That changes the shape of what we haul. Garage corners that have been collecting tools and yard equipment for decades, barns and pole sheds that have been used as overflow storage for two generations, and the kind of slow-accumulating piles that don’t even register until someone tries to clear them out.
Outbuilding and Barn Cleanouts
Detached buildings drive a lot of Walterhill jobs. Items we pull out of these regularly:
- Old riding mowers, tillers, and broken garden equipment
- Decades-old fertilizer bags, oil cans, and paint cans (we’ll route hazardous items to proper drop-off rather than landfill)
- Scrap lumber, plywood, and disassembled deck pieces

Estate and Generational Property Transitions
Walterhill has a higher share of homes that have stayed in one family for 30+ years. That means more estate cleanouts when properties change hands — sometimes the family handles part of it themselves and we’re called for the rest, sometimes the listing agent wants the whole thing gone before the first showing. Either path is fine; we’re set up for both.
Long Driveways and Truck Access
Properties along Walterhill Road, Compton Road, and the side streets running off them often have long driveways and gravel access. We bring trucks that can handle gravel, but if the access is genuinely tight or rutted, the crew may park at the road and wheel the load up. That’s worth knowing in advance — it doesn’t change the price, but it can change how long the job takes.

Lots backing up to the Stones River occasionally need cleanup after high water — tree debris, water-damaged storage, drift wood that’s now in someone’s back yard. These jobs are routine when seasonal rain spikes hit, especially in late winter and early spring.
